The 1999 Vripack Stentor 1300 is a steel explorer yacht built for inland, coastal and offshore cruising. She carries 4,250 L (≈ 1,122 US gal) of fuel, a 250 L (66 gal) blackwater tank and 120 L (32 gal) greywater tank. Powered by a Perkins Sabre M130C diesel, she cruises at ~6 knots using 8 L/h and reaches ~9 knots maximum. The layout includes two cabins, two heads (freshwater flush), a raised saloon with internal helm, electric galley via inverter, heating and full generator backup. She features a 13.31 m length, 4.40 m beam and a steel hull with strong structural framing. Currently listed at £115,000 and ideal for serious liveaboard cruising.

CONSTRUCTION

The hull, superstructure and deck are all built in steel, with double framing in high-stress zones. The design emphasises durability, ease of maintenance and long-term use. The hull form supports efficient cruising and sea-kindly motion.

MACHINERY

Single Perkins Sabre M130C marine diesel engine, direct shaft drive. Fuel transfer manifold, day tank and multiple filters. Routine access and serviceability prioritised in layout.

ELECTRICS

HFL 6 kVA generator, inverter, shore power, engine alternator, solar charging. Eight 6‑volt domestic batteries, plus dedicated start batteries. Power distribution, AC/DC panels and surge protection.

Fuel: 4,250 L (~1,122 US gallons); Blackwater: 250 L (~66 US gallons); Greywater: 120 L (~32 US gallons); Freshwater: 1,400 L (two 700 L tanks)

NAVIGATION

Full navigation suite: radar, plotters, AIS, autopilot, GPS, depth/speed sensors, VHF, weather station. Redundant systems for safety.

ACCOMODATION

Two cabins with double berths, two heads with freshwater flush, raised saloon with internal helm and dinette, galley with induction hob and oven, generous storage throughout.

DECK

Electric windlass, anchor setup with chain, wide side decks, guardrails, davits for tender, bathing platform, sun cover, fendering and mooring gear.

SAFETY

Liferaft, fire extinguishers, EPIRB, CO₂ engine-room system, bilge pumps (electric & manual), smoke alarms, emergency steering and more.
